Welcome, thanks for your service to our country. I had a samurai I sold a couple years back, best thing I found for mudding yet if I ever get my wagon on the road may do another suzuki project any how nice wagon and welcome!
Hey Ed! Welcome to the forum! I too am a minitrucker from way back, but my love for wagons brought me full circle to the wagon I have now. I have built it in a very minitruck style. Full hydros front and rear, 19" billet wheels with 40 series rubber. Lays subframe and won't budge when it's laid out. Tucking lugs in the rear and ticket grabbing tint. Had a 4" body dropped D-50 with a monster notched, bagged and boxed back half on a chrome 4 link, so I know where you're coming from. Let me welcome you and say that wagons can be just as much fun and can turn just as many heads if you build them right.
Howdy, I thought Snoop Dog joined up then noticed you only use one "G" in "Dogfather". Is that a reflection or is there a sticker on the front bumper that says "Mammals Suc"? Was the previous owner a radical speciesist invertebrate? '65 is an oddball year, everybody wants the '64 and '66 Fairlanes. My neighbor just sold his black '65 two door after about four years of trying. My '68 GTO was the same way when I bought it 17 years ago, things are a lot better now.
ha ha ha ha You Guys are some Funny Lot! Shifter I bet it's not Factory... I just got it Thursday Night....(My Friday) so have not really looked Hard at it. And DogFather was a Name Given to my By Members of My Offroad Club, Due to the Fact it's Dog Pound Offroad and I look over everyone to ensure they Get Home.. Have to keep the Fleas off My Puppies...

Welcome fellow Fairlane wagon owner! I picked mine up this year as well. Are you going to give it the full hot rod treatment?
