Call me NUTS if you like, but I have an idea for the Buick's drive train. Find yourself a wrecked Land Rover Discovery or range Rover, but make sure it has the real Rover V-8. They came up to, I think, 4.2 litres. They certainly did come in the 3 1/2 litre V-8. Buy the entire vehicle, and put the engine, transmission, fuel injection and all into the Buick. The engine itself will slide right in, since it is THE SAME BLOCK! Nice way to get upwards of 250 horse into the old girl, and there should be no permanent modification needed.

That would sure make for a unique and modernized (hidden nicely, though), and super reliable little wagon. I'd forgotten where the original engine designs ended up.

Good luck with that one Rev............

With so many to choose from you could maybe just not tell her and see if she notices one is different and one has disappeared.

Dang, was probably delivering tools to our buddy who just bought the house a few doors down from Stan the man. I may have to pop over and have a boo at it.
