I thought it was bellowing copious smoke! But yeah, "Green Acres is the place to be!"

Blue Buick Century at a Walmart. There was a dog in the car, you can see it in Pic 4. The dealer logo (which is blurry in the pic) was from Connecticut.

Found at a shop in Carnation Washington. It was POURING rain, but we had to stop and check it out.

    IMG_5506.JPG IMG_5509.JPG

Turns out it's a factory 4 speed, 260 V8 with A/C. The guy who owns the shop is trying to sell it for his friend who used to tow his race car with it.

It's crusty, but worth saving in my opinion.

    It's a "Ranch-U":rofl2:

Spotted this FORD last week. When I showed the photo to my son he said "that's the one I was telling you about!" I guess he has seen it there before. Looks like a pretty clean old wagon. I like the wheels.

Yeah it’s a good looking ‘69. Exact color (Ivy Gold) as my ‘71 that I recently posted. Also looks like it’s got the same “pond scum” green interior, as my friend calls it. Good job, was that Nathaniel?

I would *LOVE* to save the "ranch U", if it wasn't 2,576 miles from me. :(

Isn't that the way it always seems to work out?

Yep, seems to be that way. That one is actually pretty close to the one I described in opening the "Cars that got away" thread. Bummer.

I saw 3 of them today.

1: 1993 Roadmaster in Brookville, PA. I spoke with the owner last year, and mentioned this car in this thread before (first reply on page 6.)

2: 1989 Caprice Classic (Blue) in Brockway, PA. I saw this once, in Dubois, PA, but I didn't get a pic that day. I spoke with the owner a bit, and mentioned that an 89's probably the best of the 80s Box Wagons if you're judging from a seat belt perspective.

3: A more recent Volkswagen Wagon at a gas station in Dubois, PA. Not a classic car, but I'll lump it in.

There was also a Buick Tour X in Silver that I saw earlier this week, but I didn't get a photo.

I think the darker paint isn't original. It looked textured, but it was rough up close; I asked if there was a vinyl top on it at one point, it looked questionable enough. Decent color combo, but it could use a re-do.
