It has belonged to my grandpa, my mother and myself. I've always had people compliment my car when I drive it around. This is a classic car in great shape. If you want a safe car for your kids, they don't make cars much safer than this big boy. If you're looking for a car you can take your family across the country in and bring everything but the kitchen sink, this is perfect for that as well. Surfboards? There's room in the back, AND on the rack! This old car has a lot of life left, and I have had fun growing up with it, and using it as an adult. I'll be sad to see it go. There are a few small scratches that aren't very noticeable, and can be buffed out, and perhaps a tiny ding or two. The headliner in the very back is damaged, but the rest of the headliner is fine. The body is solid with no rust from what I can see. The interior is in wonderful condition. The dash has a few cracks in it from the sun, but this car is over 40 years old and is in great condition. The engine is solid. When I say solid, I mean I would feel comfortable driving it anywhere and everywhere. Beautiful classic wheels. The brakes are new and have barely been used at all. The only two issues with the car don't affect it's every day driving. The gas gauge is touchy. Works sometime, other times it doesn't. It's most likely a short in the electrical system. Secondly, the drivers side door doesn't open from the outside. I think it just needs a new door handle, because the mechanics work fine on the inside. It drives like a boat!
