Yup...that's the heavy stuff, 72King. Looks like you were lucky that wire didn't come down. That heavy snow like that is the dangerous stuff. Looks real pretty...and it is. But it can cause a lot of problems.

Yes.. its a very heavy and wet snow. There are 50,000 in the region still without power! We were one of the lucky ones. This is the most snow we have seen since 1998. We only average about 10-13 inches here all winter season, but many areas seen that and more just with this snow storm! 50s are forecasted Tuesday-Wednesday, so I guess more melting will take place.... then rain for Christmas Eve and Christmas... what a mess it will be!

    Yup, nature's pruning saw. :D
Our ice storms do that here.
Still not a flake here. No ice, either, but thankful for that.

We had stupid snow last yuear aroung this time, powere outs, the whole works. Had one morning of 1/2 inch of the white stuff this year but the rain took care of that the same day....Rained all day and mite have to expect ice tommorow as they predict.

In a wierd way I almost wish we would get the mother load of snow with power outs...It was fun having time off and watching every one run aroung like the world had ended:rofl2:. We have a fire place, wood, BBQ, 3 burner 15000 btu camp stove, ample propane, a wagon snow plow, and to keep my honey happy I bout a generator last year (did'nt feel the need to use it though:rofl2:), we're ready:yup:
