Nice are you happy with the match to the original material? Can't wait to see the reupholstered seat .....Longroofs Rule!
Does SMS offer more than just vinyl material? I am looking for something to replace the hardboard on my tailgate. It carrys over onto the back of the rear seat and middle seat to create the cargo floor when everything is folded down. The material on the backs of the seats are in good condition, but the stuff on the tailgate is shot.
I know SMS does door cards, some of which may have plastics, but I am not sure if they carry the hard plastic you need. Does not hurt to give them a call. They got back to me fairly quickly when I left a message for fabric.
Well I pulled the trigger on getting the front seat redone and a new carpet set from SMS. They had a cro-vid 19 sale (19% off all sales) so I took my cro-vid 19 stimulus check and put it to good use for the vista! They are doing the seat cover themselves, $1,438 for seat cover, $258 for the carpet set, another $80 to send my old seat covers in for patterns( Boy I hope that seat cover is beautiful for that kind of money!) I figured I might as well have them do it, as I have talked to a couple of reupholsters and they didn't sound to confident to do a OEM job. ??? The way I look at it is let the pros do it. Why pay all that money for the material and have some smuck screw it up?....Longroofs Rule!
That's fantastic wagoninsane. You are right, that is a lot of money. But hopefully it is money well spent. I just had the seats in the Fury redone and it's amazing what a difference that makes. I'm looking forward to hearing about yours when it's finished.
