... and I have alot of pics but my camera died while taking pics so it's charging so pics are coming ASAP.

One eror in my last post, It's not Grandmas car but parked at her farm. Beautiful old farm house and property.... I'd be able to keep a hundred cars out back and not take away the beauty of the farm! Real young guy, second owner, really keen on it not getting destroyed, wagon guy himself, it was his first car and I told him to look for it on this site.

Real nice guy, I did'nt take my Crewzer because I figured I'd be getting dirty, the guy noticed the Hotwheels Chevelle rite away on the dash of my truck, then I showed him pics on the camera of all my toy wagons and the Crewzer....this young guy is a wagon guy!

OK, My Crown..... The car is SOLID BUT NEEDS EVERYTHING!

Been of the road for 5 years and not started in 3, dents and fading paint started the body work witch the guy admited was more than he could chew.

We sorted and pieced together and I have ALL of the front end parts. Only parts missing sadly are both chrome pieces under the tail lites one rear drivers side marker lense, and dash piece for radio, other than that it's all there

Interiour seats are shot and dash pad and headliner also. All the glass is there and in the car in great shape....I thought the glass was out also Rev. Door and gate weather stripping is hurting and the gate leaks water inside. You'll notice a pic of the floor with the rear seat (you'll notice the rear seat has a cigarete liter), it was full of water so I pulled the plug but the condition....WOW!

The car was full of garbage and I just started hauling it out, carpets were damp and trash so I just ripped then out to find a Holy Crap solid floor.
I kinda feel bad now as I did'nt even ask to remove the carpet...I just started shreading Drivers floor had a puddle...so I pulled the plug. I beat on those floors with my foot and fist and it's solid, rockers, solid, under the doors solid but need attending. The bottom of the tail gate...SOLID,

I layed my rain coat down to get under the car....freeken solid! Minor rust blemishes in certain spots of the car but I could'nt stab a screw driver through with the exception of a couple small spots in the rear wheel wells.

Under the hood, talk about origonal and unmolested, tranny juice although darker was still red, oil was black but no water, rad still was green. Carb was very clean lookiing aslo cosidering, as was the inside of the valve cover oil cap.

As I said, the car needs everything but I could not pass this up, to complete and to solid. I pounded that car with foot, fist, hammer, and screw driver, to me this is what I've been hunting for, old foren, not seen every day, and to me this is a diamond in the rufffffff

Something to kill the weekends and nights for a while. Are you intending on restoring it or modifying it?

I'm glad my wife likes me.....Ummm, I did'nt tell her where I was going this morning, bout the car, came home, we chatted, she left....figured I'd tell her about the car after we got home (just now) and while driving to the vets she pops up and says....."so, you must have bout that wagon, where you going to put it?" Talk about . Then she says, make sure you close all the pc windows before you leave.....she knew all the time and never said anything......It's all good at home though, she knows I don't booze up, party with the boys etc, and that between you guys, the dogs, and cars that I stay out of trouble, sort of
.

My Wife ROCKS!....I just have to tell her before hand

Thanx again guys, I won't be touching the Crown till summer and it will be as low $$ resto as needed to get it road worthy. I won't cheap out when it comes to brakes and mechanical but as for what will happen it won't be stock but done with taste and your guys input will heavilly deside the out come. It will remain an automatic as I am finding it harder and harder to use a clutch (truck will be auto in future also because..).

I have soo many options at my disposal, 22R and RE motors, complete roof/pwer sunroof with all hard ware from a Celica GTS, plus buckets, console etc.

I'll have more pics once it is at home, sell has no problems letting me keep it where it is for 1 month, I will have to shred my parts olds now to make room for this one.

Just my 2 cents, Fat. As rare as it is, if it were mine, I would bring it back to stock. Just like the pix in the ad you showed. You know how much that would be WORTH!? But, what ever you do, I'm sure I will like....because you are saving a beauty!

Thanx Black and Fox...Yeah I totally know and agree with what your saying Fox but a stock resto will be too much $$ at this time, but as I mentioned what I plan on will be done with taste.

I'm having problems with pics at my end, trying to sort it out....here are some more if they work.

First pic, all the underside doors are this clean, the seller rattle canned them just because...most likely this helped preseve them.

The second pic, the hole on the floor is the rubber plug I removed to let some water out....Iguess the Japenise designed it for there Sunamies(spelling?)

Third pic, a totallly unmolested origonal engine, you can't read it but the air filter has all the timing,carb,etc specs, and thats my ugly fat @ss beside the crown.

LMAO, It's all good at home, I will be cooking dinner tonite and doing the dishes, fair trade IMO.....I also will have some house chores tommorow, but they will involve power tools so how can I complain!

Nowhere's near as bad as I thought it would be based on your first post about it. It's both rare and unusual....Just My Style! Good luck to you. Can't wait to see the progress once you start the restoration.
