I was watching the old school original Cape Fear on the weekend and the family had an awesome wagon, in which they whisked the poisoned dog away to the vet. It looked super cool with mountainous tailgater killing fins. Anyone know what it was? Anyone own one?

Geez, it's been forever since I've seen the original version. I googled Cape Fear screenshots and didn't see any of that wagon.
I went to the movie car database page, then clicked on the movie link. It shows various screen shots of the cars in the movie. Shot #2 shows a 1961 Chrysler New Yorker from the front, but you can't tell whether it is a wagon or not. This could be the vehicle you were referring to. The '61 New Yorker Town & Country had HUGE fins. It was also a 4-door HARDTOP station wagon, which is very rare. Here's a view of another one I picked out of the dubba-dubba-dubba:
I think that was it. I only saw from the passenger door looking back to the tail. Awesome long glass house at the rear and massive fins! Love it!
