In lots of the U-pull type yards, you can't buy the complete car.

    at some places

At the Pick-Your-Part in Sun Valley, they have a small fenced in section where they sell used cars--- as is/no warranty,,, they're a junk yard after all. Haven't ever thought to ask if a whole car from the yard would be acquirable. And they set their cars up on stands. Makes getting under carriage parts easier...

Do they ship parts? My brother has been looking for a rear bumper for his '78 Delta 88 for a year now.

Those u-pull-it type yards normally don't ship parts, but you never know until you contact them. I've never seen a car sold out of the Pull-A-Part yards around me and I know they don't ship. Try the Car-Part.com or Uneeda Part salvage yard searches. There are a bunch of those Olds 88 bumpers listed on Car-Part and those yards usually ship. You may find one with a bumper close to you and save a lot of money on shipping if you pick it up.
