Thanks. We tested it out with a portable speaker this afternoon and it sounds good. We plan to have the new speaker in this afternoon, so we'll know soon enough.

Well, it's all installed and it sounds really good actually. It took me forever to figure out how to tune to a station. Somehow during installation the radio got set on a European TA setting which made it impossible to select a station. I actually had to call the factory rep to get it figured out.

My In-laws stopped by last night. It was a beautiful evening, so they decided to drive the Fairlane.
When they were leaving my Father-in-law went on and on about how much he enjoys driving this car. It really makes me happy to see how much he enjoys it.

First off the car is beautiful. Secondly, how cool for your young boys that Grandpa is into cars like their dad. They’re gonna be great stewards of your stuff Orthmann J!

Yes they are. Nathaniel, the oldest loves the Fury and since he is the oldest, he'll get it. Caleb, the youngest loves trucks, which is perfect, since the other family heirloom is the 69 F-100 and he'll get that one. Every time we're out and about they are spotting "neat old cars". When we were at the local cruise a couple of nights ago we were standing there with my buddy checking everything out and a 50's Porsche pulled up and Nathaniel said "look at that old Porch!" (which stems from an old joke my Grandfather used to tell) and my buddy was shocked he knew what it was. I guess I am rubbing off on them.

My Father-in-law has had many neat vehicles and some of them have come and gone, but he really loves the 59 and I think this one is a keeper and will be around for a long time.

His granddad used to call drivers of such cars "Porsche Monkeys", I'm guessing :scratchchin:
