The car looks good from here....but....it's from rust belt MN, apparently. Check it over carefully underneath before buying is my advice.

And to think it was classified as a mid-size car back then.

Looks like it would make a good project. The issues it has arn't a big deal.

    No kidding!..with factory 14 inch rims:rofl2:

That is a wagon you sure don't see often today. Funny when I look back at my wagon shoping from days gone by. 98ish just before I bout my green Fox LTD there was a brown one for sale that I passed by daily. I never stoped to look cause "fugly" came to my mind......I'd hit the brakes and turn around today.

Hell, these cars were rare when new. I am lucky to see a 77 Cougar Villager here in Rio Rancho fairly regularly. The guy must know what he has, as he keeps it pretty clean. The blue on the LTD II reminds me of a cop car!

I talked to the guy, it's got plenty of floorboard/wheel well rust, it has brake issues, doesn't idle smooth, and it does not have a third row seat in it.

I could deal with a lot, but finding a third row seat for a one-year-only model would be tough. Even if I could find a 72-76 Torino seat and it fit (it should, same dang car different front clip) it would be a tough call. And it's in Minnesoda. And my wife, eh, she never wants me to go there just to pick up some car, ya know. I get this accent, eh? And then she don't wanna talk to me no more.
