Welcome aboard! Cool wagon - glad to see it on the track! I've got dreams of racing mine. Did the autocross for the first time this year; burnt up my wiring harness in the process but it was a lot of fun.

Autocross is a great place to start. It's an inexpensive way to find out how good the car, and the driver, are. And its a great place to find what needs improvement. Lots of guys get really hooked on it too, and with a wagon you can even carry all your gear and track tires with ease!

You mean my memory was actually RIGHT for once? Call 911, I think I'm gonna have a heart attack. Sunspots? Blue moon? Something's GOTTA be messed up if I was right.

    What's a goon? Hockey scrapper?

Yup altered wagon, that photo is pre-lettering. It's a full on battle wagon now. Breaking hearts at drag strips throughout B.C.

I'll get around to an intro and garage soon, don't need someone accusing me of borrowing their virtual tools or drinking their virtual beer before I sweep the virtual shop floor :) In case it's new slang for this forum, a 'goon' is a wagoon, but I like the hockey enforcer concept...

The 510 race wagon is running a L20b motor, makes about 200 hp, and the car weighs about 2000 lbs. Fastest speed registered last season was about 130 into T1 at Fontana.

Would love to see some other wagons out there vintage roadracing - Pinto, Vega, Volvo, heck, even a Fairlane!

"Especially a Fairlane" it is then, got one in mind???
There is a cool Falcon coupe racing with our club, so why not a Falcon wagon? Hmmm, a new idea for next season is percolating...

Now you're thinking right! I'm going to do some more autocrossing in it this year - good excuse to upgrade parts!
