Here is another idea: paint the majority olive drab, keep the chrome, and do the "woodgrain" area in camouflage. I think that would be sweet! Btw, hot rod flatz has both green and brown olive drab so you can use "real" paint....lol

If you can get it from there, it is a great product!

I think an old weathered wood grain would be awesome!

LargeBarge, have you ever heard about Hot Rod Magazine Editor David Freiburger's F-Bomb Camaro? He had it painted flat green. I thought the Camaro looked awesome. Just Google F-Bomb Camaro.

I myself don't think any flat or satin would do your car justice. I'm digg'in the car dude. If it were mine I'd paint it white with a little flake in it. I would also leave the woodgrain take the moons off and leave the wheels black, but put chrome rings with chrome lug nuts on, with about a 35% tint job... whoa. You could also keep the moons and paint the wheels red, hotrod orange, or just keep them the way they are. Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be just what you want. Good luck!

A friend of mine used to have a '69 Dodge Polara station wagon, we almost put a dummy pintle-mount machine gun on the roof. The way the rear of the car was sloped, you could roll down the rear window and sit comfortably on the tailgate while it was up, facing forward with your feet and legs inside the car. It would have made a perfect place to sit while holding the handles on the machine gun...

The same friend had a '72 Ford Galaxie wagon that he painted orange and cream in auto body class. It looked really sharp.
