That's who was in the caption from the image before it. I don't know if it's him in the photo or some janitor. What I don't understand is why anyone would want to use engines with tiny valves for drag racing. It's no wonder that he had to use four of them

 

That multiple-engine setup was popular back then for a few reasons, but in Ivo's case, that dragster had both axles powered, in attempts to set new speed records. I think part of the problem was the state of metallurgy back then...to get 1000 horsepower and a gob of torque, you couldn't do it yet in one engine, so putting two on was an attempt to hit that mark. Did it work? Who knows.
