I live 20 miles east of Memphis and have a carry permit. The only time I ever use it is when I go into Memphis. Once, the wife had a gun pointed at her by a carload of gangbangers who were escaping from some altercation further up the road. Another time, we were forced to the curb by a car doing 90 mph (speed limit 35) down Poplar Ave., no doubt also fleeing some crime.

The thing to do is comb the gun shows. “Bill Goodman! Call a buddy, bring a friend!” You don’t want a pistol with your name registered on it when the fit hits the Shan. You just want to defend yourself, then throw the evidence in the river along with the memories. Duct tape and a brick helps. Memphis is tougher than Nashville, but like all major hubs, we Have our spots. North Nashville for example has been dubbed “dodge city”. On the west of Charlotte pk. WAS Joe Johnson projects. They had to shut entire streets down in the late 80’s early 90’s due to drive by shootings before they wised up and tore the whole thing down. Our gun laws are just fine... :coco:Y’all come back now!! :tiphat:

I wouldn't accidentally drop refuse into a river in any way where it's still possible to find it. Think about getting fined for environmental pollution. If authorities really wanted to, they could drag a large magnet across a river bed and eventually match the powder residue with that left on your hand and forearm to that of your accidentally dropped junk. Then issue you a ticket. If I had any metal of which I didn't want to pollute the environment with, I'd simply get out the torch and melt it into a form of which I could hammer a shovel out of it for peacefull purposes.
Drive-by shootings can only lower crime statistics, because there would be less potential shooters still standing, unless the birthrate makes up for Hoodkill. Wait a minute? Didn't I just answer my own question?

I have several of those purchased in the 70's from people who are long since dead and no paper trail exists.

    You watch too much TV.

I don't have a Teevee. When I've got the internet, what use do I have for a Brainwasher? Someone sewed an antenna jack on my head, while I was getting my appendix harvested. All I have to do to inflate my fantasy is to plug in the antenna cable. Now, would you like a roast beef sandwich or a slice of watermellon?

Somehow, I think you are one of those guys that wear tin foil hats.

They don't manufacture tin foil, anymore. Aluminum does the job, though. Isn't that what counts?
Your Granddad should have kept a spare, for such occasions:

I finally fired up Babe today, got a fuel leak fixed, dialed in the dizzy then the carb, she runs good so far but I want to drive her then see if I can tweak her a bit. After that, got the replacement header panel on, hooked up all the lights, and she can head out as soon as I get some gasoline in her, and her tabs.

What is this picture about? There seems to be a few older model cars, is it a movie set pic? With the wet and the lighting it really is a very interesting picture. :yup:

Yeah, because that Caddy's a limo. I'd say a set, but movie or TV, I couldn't say.
