That may be true, but my prediction remains unchanged. As we're chasing basket cases here in the U.S. these days, it stands to reason those with money will grab those cars no matter what.

That's an interesting pic. Beautiful woman, T-Bird in the foreground, but what could the car on the other side side of it be? I've never seen a Fifties coupe with Edsel-style taillights and T-Bird-syle fins.

Plus '58 Impala rear roof vent.
The T-Bird looks like it has Corvette grille teeth.
Another '55 T-bird over her left shoulder.

Thanks. I knew the vent looked familiar, but I just could not place it. As for the grille, it does look like a Corvette style, but not factory. J.C. Whitney special?

J.C.Whitney was my friend when younger. We'd drive the 165 miles to Chicago for a $2.00 part. Yes those grilles were popular especially on '57 Chevys.
Whitney is now just off I-80 near Peru, Illinois. I may be a little off by a few towns.

I tried using their on-line catalog recently--about as farked up as the part store's online websites. I bet you can't get the paper catalogs anymore.

Soooooo...I went to swap out the injectors on my Exploder because at least one's shot and badly misfiring, let alone destroying one cat convertor, so last weekend I scooped up a set of eight 5.0L injectors from a '98 Exploder, and this morning, i started to remove the upper plenum so as to access the fuel rail, and to my surprise, my '97 injectors (bright orange) are not 100% the same as the '98 injectors (pale yellow) because Ford changed from the Bosch-style connector to a more compact connector design!!!! ARRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! So, I have to go looking this weekend for another set of bright orange injectors and return the pale yellow ones.

Uh huh. Fat lot of good it did me, though. Now I have to go get another set, but I don't want to give these up. Too much trouble to pull them.
