Interesting the top floor of that triple rack car is showing empty space; you don't normally run one of those with empty space.

Made me think about Wisconsin Dells, Baraboo, and the Circus World museum.

That last one, I could've used that sign when I worked at a used record store many years ago.

So Pick 'n' Nose had a 50% off sale this weekend; my padawan mechanic and I went in at opening and pulled a 109K 5.0L from a 1989 Crown Vic...totally clean, non-smoker car, and he had pulled a bunch of parts for it last weekend. I checked the engine, and it felt like all cylinders had compression, the remaining coolant was good (his engine is rusty from sitting ten years), and since they were having the sale, we pulled the engine. And between last Sunday and today, some devious SOB thought they could save the engine for themselves. When I arrived at the car, the hood was closed. I pulled the release, but no workee, so I walked out front, swung my steel cane against the header panel, IMG_20160528_082315045.jpg
and gained access to the release lever. I am first, and I will not be denied.

That road washout actually happened here in Western Washington. The signage is very hilarious, though....

Roscoe P. Goldtrain was just a cornpone idiot; Buford T. Justice was smart, but unlucky.
