The price of bananas in the local supermarkets has soared to .59 or more per pound.
    Ha Ha HA, I say.
We're living off the land, here.
Yep, we grow our own bananas in the back yard.

Strangely our friends could grow bananas up at the very top of the state near the Chatahoocie Coockie bridge but when we we got starts and grew some they only produced one year then froze out. We've tried bananas, grapefruits, oranges, and more here. We are near the Suwannee river. Just when we get something producing we get a freeze.
The bananas we had were those little fingerling things. Actually tasted pretty good. So we don't live off the land. We live off Wally World and Wyne Dixie.
Another friend nearer Ormond Beach has oranges. Yes I actually have two friends. :biglaugh:

Out of the three people there who do you suppose was the driver of the Rumbler?:coco:
I'd guess the guys in coveralls are about to move the car.
Amazingly not much traffic. I've noticed this in many street scenes.

    Life mirrors the movies sometimes.
Especially in Florida where the line between facts and fantasy are often blurred.
No, I'm tot talking politics here.

This recent photo of a gator Vs Python @ the golf course reminds me of the hilarious B- movie starring '80s pop stars Tiffany, Micky Dolenz, and Debbie Gibson.

--------^^^^^^^^^^ I miss all of the early Florida attractions. Sadly most have been replaced by commericalized things. Like the Florida welcome centers, all long gone and replaced by giant truck stops with fast food joints selling orange juice made in China.
I do like the cars in the lot in this scene rather than the look alike wind tunnel rejects we see now.
When my wife keeps trying to get into a Prius or Honda instead of my Impala something is not right!:slap:

A little bondo and a shot of rattle can paint will make it show car ready. Ran when parked. See my add in another post.
PS This is the good side. Tailgate rusted completely off and may need nose section due to more slight rust and damage from hitting the deer. Or was that a moose?

Notice how shiny the road is,. i,d say she was a victim of freezing rain,. the way front wheels are still facing ahead,.i might hazard a guess the car actually slid backwards into this position,.?

So maybe lay the blame at the highway maintenance dept.

Looking back at it now, I think you are probably right. It does look slick and icy.
