I always look at the basic security as "housekeeping." I do it at least once a week. I recommend you give it a try; stay off line while doing it.

lately kids have been using my internet units so I haven't had enough to do a cleaning.
I'm not good at housekeeping. Some of those are auto and others are supposed to be.
Actually thr Malware and CCleaner are all I need to run manual. I think CCleaner does a good job of cleaning cookie crumbs!

Thanks guys. I thought that was what I have to do.
I know that disc is in one of these boxes.......
    Good luck, Cat.
Living in the boondocks has its pleasures and its drawbacks.
Cell phones don't work in Interlachen, for example. :(

Down in the Boondocks...without a dock!

Wife tried three different cell phones before any would work. Of course we lost money on those. We and friends had to drive a mile to the main highway to use a cell phone.
Finally we got a couple cheap Verison service phones and we've been connected to the outside world now for years.(y)
Have friends in Holister and they can use cell phones. Some boonies are different.

If we ever get moved I've already forgotten what's in boxes I packed months ago. Some of these plans devised by mice and men get changed!:slap:

You can't use your cell phone while driving, but this should be OK

Or if you have a Desoto, using your 45RPM player. Just make sure you tape a couple nickels to the tone arm.

    Eyeball Treats

    • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
    • Strawberry syrup (such as Hershey's)
    • 8 M&M's (blue, green or brown)
    • Black decorating gel
    1. Scoop ice cream into balls and set on wax-paper-lined cookie sheet. Freeze until ready to serve (at least 20 minutes).
    2. Place two ice cream balls on each serving plate, an inch apart.
    3. Drizzle syrup onto each ball to create a bloodshot effect. Put an M&M (logo facing down) at the center of each and top with a drop of black decorating gel to form a pupil.
    Yield: 4 pairs of "eyeballs"

Actually, those Chrysler record players played the 16-1/2 RPM records.
