Next you'll complain you have to mow the grass!:banghead3:
Maybe you should pack up and move to The Villages in Florida.

Yeah the grass is getting kinda long but daughter an I took care of that this morning. We covered it with top soil...we're going to reseed the bare spots, which is pretty much the entire lawn. So no mowing yet...:yippee:

Speaking of lawns; I was worried about the lawn at our Illinois place. :49: Two things..............#1 My daughter called to tell about their Mexico trip. All four couples got diarea! It's the crappy ice in the free liquer. :drink:
I mentioned the lawn back there. She told me not to worry her husband's dad decided in retirement to mow lawns for money. He bought several mowers and a trailer. Between him and our oldest son they've been fighting over who is mowing our lawn! :yup: She said father-in-law went to mow our lawn and our son had just finished. :taz:

#2.. Daughter and family had their three year old house up for sale and are having a larger one built. It sold in six weeks. They decided our empty place would be okay to live in till the new place is mostly done. We won't have to pay utilities or house payments and they will mow the lawn now.... Most likely daddy-in-law again!
So if we do sell this place in Florida we will be homeless. Also this is the first time we have no RV or we could just travel and I could take up knitting or butterfly collecting.

So I may have blown out my right knee; it folded like a cheap card table this morning when I went to get into Dad's pickup, and I fell on my back. So I haven't finished paying my bills or doing my grocery shopping for the month. Dad bought me a few day's worth of food and a bottle of Seagram's 7, though. And, in today's mail, I got my AARP card....

That does not sound good. Hopefully you just sprained it. Drink the medicine in the bottle and join AARP today. You can visit other old people and talk about operations.

Hubby and I went out for supper this evening, we were in Lil Sis. When I pulled into the parking lot there was a Taurus wagon in the lot so I parked next to it. When we came out it was gone. Later when I came out of Canadian Tire there was another Taurus parked next to me....cool huh?

At one time, FWD wagons were breeding like rabbits. I remember my first ride in a FWD car; it was an '86 Celebrity wagon, government-owned and operated by a Second-Class Petty Officer from my ship's shore detachment. The first thing my freshly-grown 6'6" frame noticed was the longer leg room, more than Dad's '78 Fairmont.

Nothing going on around here, either.

I hear ya on FM, man. I laid down for a nap at, oh, 4:30pm or so, and woke up just before 7, missing the news entirely.

Sometimes when I look in the pantry I find green crackers. Didn't know they were healthy or filled with people parts.

I didn't want to start a new thread or highjack someone else's thread, but I turned fifty this morning:biggringift::party2::blowhorn: at twenty minutes after Midnight, and hearing an echo of the nurse calling "CORPSMAN!" when Mom told her she knew I was on my way and had had four kids before having me. And yes, I was a ten-month baby, but I was easier than my brother Geoff to be born.
