I've never driven a Prius, maybe because they aren't at least 21 years old and they don't make a wagon.
Apparently, the glove box is shaped rather oddly, and some people wondered why the usually practical Toyota engineers did this.
    Here's the answer:

Ya gotta love that Toyota practicality.

My brother owned a Prius. I think he was drunk when he bought it!:pub:

Did anyone ever carry gloves in a glove box? I don't remember ever seeing it done. We either wore ours or put them in our pockets. Of course when younger mommy pinned them to our coat sleaves.:D

My mom made a yarn 'rope,' 5 or 6 strands, braided, that went through our sleeves and attached to the back of each mitten so that when you took them off, they just hung at your hands. Obviously, the makers of the astronauts' suits weren't caring mothers....

I catch some a$$hole stealing eggs from little girls, they're gonna end up with those eggs shoved sideways up their kazoo, basket, shell and all.

For a person with disabilities, I have no problem at all seeing this done to ANY old car. Owner IMO knows how to enjoy life:thumbs2:

I caught that conversion on the Velocity channel yesterday morning. I think the show was called "Phantomworks" or something and it is a project the owner of the company was doing, Wheels for Warrior's.

I agree, as long as it's not done with a straight, numbers-matching car that, restored, could represent a small niche of the Ponycar Era.
