doesn't have the same effect when you are standing on your truck in a residential area and no doubt your kids are playing, making noise, having fun in the back ground.........

    Cool pics BTW, Orth!

Orth needs to report that faulty street light to the city and call the cops about the guy that pealed out in front of his house. This neighborhood is unsafe to park old trucks.

Thanks Tedy. You are right, it's not the same as being in the mountains, or at the lake, but it was beautiful regardless. The boys had already had their bath and were in their PJs so they weren't playing and making noise. But if they had been I wouldn't have minded. I did get the oldest outside for a few minutes to take it all in.

Weird deal about the streetlights, there are a number of them in our neighborhood like that. As far as the burnout stripes, those came a couple of weeks ago at about 10:30 at night. It was diesel truck, I heard it but didn't see it. My neighbor has a drag car, so he thinks someone was aiming it at him.

Either way, just wanted to share the neat sunset. As the old Family Circus comic once put it "God sure paints some pretty sunsets"

Orth we did enjoy your sunsets. Thanks. We only kid you cause we love ya!
We live at least 30-35 miles from the Gulf with woods all around. But sometimes we still go out and watch the sun set over the water.

A Salvage Yard for your Enjoyment

Okay boys and girls I'm here to save each and every one of you $25 cash, possible Poison Ivy, snake bite, skeeter bites, and exhaustion from walking in the woods among old scrap iron.
I posted this link in another thread but figured more members might see it here.

Old Car City USA, 3098 Highway 411 NE, White, Georgia, 30184
It's 50 miles north of White, Ga. We were there last 25 years ago but I still remember it well. ;) This link is interesting to most old car nuts.
    Thanks to Hemmings Motor News.

Nope. Supposedly, we're just inside the 'zone', and those 'in the know' were not sure whether we would see them or not. Just caught a glimpse on the news of a pic somebody took in New Hampshire that showed them real well.
