I showed the pic last night to Dad (where do you think I got my interest in trains?) and he definitely confirms it's Mt. Shasta, because of the flat area down the middle between the peaks and the terrain is definitely consistent with Shasta National Recreation Area and Shasta Lake. Also, look at the last pic Orthmann posted this morning and compare it to the original posted pic, and you'll see they're a match (except for the amount of snow).

 

home sick today

A nasty cold caught me off guard...
oops sorry I just coughed on the screen hope no one catches it.... My eyes won't stop watering...along with my nose...so consequently their both red. My head hurts and I've got bed head from tossing and turning, not able to sleep. My face is a little crusty from drolling when I do drop off...maybe I should get my camera and get that selfy pic taken care of that Jaruis is looking for... ...my head hurts.

My old battery back up was marked 5-7 years. The new one I got yesterday shows 7 years. Makes sense having a battery in there. Seems like it would have a warning it's gonna die. Being without internet for a whole day was terrible.
