I needed a trans cooler and I was going to use the small one on the bottom. My buddy gave me the top one instead. It's from a Dodge SRT V10 Viper truck. Since I plan on doing a little towing, that one should work out good. Surprisingly all I had to do was drill 2 holes and notch the bracket on the lower left. It was a tight fit but it's in.

A new hiccup has emerged. I'm having issues with the throttle linkage. It's just not lining up. I contacted one of the top Mopar experts. He's putting something together and then calling me with the details. Stay tuned.

Just got the new adjustable throttle linkage bracket in the mail today. I also made an extension to the throttle cable at the machine shop at work. I will be playing with that soon. I also have a Lokar trans kickdown linkage kit to install.

Since I need a good trans cooler because I plan on doing some towing, my buddy gave me one from a Dodge V10 Viper truck. He installed the Viper drivetrain in a 67 Dodge pickup and used an after market cooler. I like FREE things. It worked out very well. Only mods were drilling 2 holes and notching one of the brackets. It dropped right in. A couple of compression fittings and all looks well. It did take me like 3 hours to make up one of the trans lines. I wanted it to look really good so I was very particular. The second one should be a little easier.

The V10 Viper truck in question. A good friend. I helped him out when he needed an extra hand. Now he's doing all the metal fabrication and bodywork on my 69 Dodge Dart with a 440 big block.

A lot of progress these last few days. The Lokar transmission kickdown is hooked up. Not adjusted yet. I need another pair of hands for that. Getting the Winters floor shifter mounted. I just need another small piece of sheet metal. Speedo cable is in. Waiting for a new throttle cable to come in the mail. It's nice having daylight again.

So I think I have the gated shifter all set. Definitely not an easy bolt on. Since adding all the aftermarket linkages to the transmission, one of the lines needs to be remade. Too much in the way. I'm hoping to make the other trans line this weekend. Still waiting on the new longer throttle cable.

So as of today, I was able to turn over the 360 with the ignition key. I added anti-freeze and trans fluid. Bought a new battery and addressed the neutral safety switch issue. I'm still waiting on the throttle cable. It did turn over nice and strong. More progress.

IT’S ALIVE!!!!!!! The new throttle cable came in the mail. The Creep Wagon started up today. A lot of work. Now is the test and tune stage. Set timing, top off all the fluids, adjust the transmission kickdown linkage and carb. Then off to my buddy Boot’s shop to fix the exhaust. Right now it sounds like a monster truck.

It's moving. I took it off the jackstands, went through the gears to get the trans fluid flowing, topped off the other fluids. Thermostat gasket is leaking but no big deal. Now just waiting for my buddy to pick it up and take care of the exhaust and fine tune it. I can't tune it until the exhaust is hooked up so since it will be at his shop, he can take care of that.
