If there are any serious inquiries, please feel free to contact me. You are also welcome to come look at the vehicle as well. Please contact me first an and i will be glad to forward my number. Both cars are currently not running. The hardtop was a driving car but was bought for parts needed for the wagon. Wagon will have a bill of sale but if serious buyer can have all ca paperwork sorted out. I have all registration up until early 80s from san diego. Wagon will need total restoration but you will have a hard time finding another one. Thanks for looking.

This listing is brought to you by Jenkinson Concours and Customs in Escondido, Ca."

Top looks like it's off a '59 (?) Mercury hardtop wagon.

Dam.... it's got issues for sure, but DAM how I would love that! I think(?) the only Lincoln wagon we have seen of this era was a photo shop 2 door, and this is the real thing! I love the fake vent window past the rear doors and that is suicide doors. Sure wish there were more pics but ad has ended.

This would be a dream born again if I won the lottery :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

It says bidding has ended, and starting bid was $9500 and 0 bids - I wonder what happened.

Thanks for finding more pics, cammer (y)

Yes the price is in dream land also, and the parts car with the select pics it has looks in much better shape... but, Dam I would still buy it, if I won the loto

Tailgate sure screams for something, anything cosmetic though. Nice lines but way to plane jane for a Lincoln....or was it re-skinned at one point and not finished? No, how do you open it handle of key lock.

You have to admit this rear styling is better.

The black parts car is an early build, VIN# 429, where the wagon project is a much later car with VIN# 8265. I'd be tempted to fine a later-build parts donor, build the wagon with that, and do up the early-build sedan.

I owned a '62 Lincoln ragtop back in 1999. What a magnificent car it was, too! It was a light metallic green with dark green leather and white top. Everything worked flawlessly on the car, except the radio. At the same time, I also owned a blue and white '73 Imperial LeBaron four-door hardtop and a triple white '66 Cadillac Coupe deVille, in nearly the same condition as the ragtop. A fun collection of one each of the Big Three's best luxury cars of their day! All of them fit inside my shop just fine, too. The Lincoln and the Imperial fit end-to-end with one inch at the wall, one inch between the bumpers, and one inch at the garage door.. The Caddy fit next to them. Damn, that was a fun time!

After looking at the pic of the work on and around the tail gate, it's my guess this one would take hundreds (maybe thousands) of hours to finish. Lot of engineering as well as fabrication to make a tail gate work on a car that was originally a sedan. The work done on it so far looks so bad that it would probably have to all be re-done.

And yeah, that maroon one looks good, bet then again it's just a figment of the artist's imagination - not real steel.
