it's giving me a ride to work everyday. the weather has not been real cooperative in the "go look at a car " department. I am going to attempt to go and look at one tomorrow and I have a line on a BBC early to mid 70's chevy. supposedly in storage for 20+ years. Have no clue if it's full or mid size tho

Can't find anything here as every time I click on one SWANNY done HOGGED it up! :)

Well went and looked at the Buick yesterday. NICE car actually.

Pros. Nice rear window seal, overall sweet body. Bumpers are REAL nice compared to what mine were when I got it( Bumpers were solid but chrome was POOP). Spare tire area solid drivers 1/4 seems nice too. Could be bondo there but seems ok Seats are all really nice. Power window and gate.

Cons. No luggage rack, cracked dash pad (no biggie there) and rust in the battery box area. Personally mine is nicer there and I would need to use my inner fender, rad support and battery box. rad support has more rust on/in it from the above (battery box) than I am comfy with. Paint is faded and dull but all there and no surface rust.

I was told 4500 but he will not sell it for less than 5000 and yea I think it's well worth it. I just don't have that much at the moment.

I still need to contact the guy about the Chevrolet I was told about but I do not know if it is even for sale now.

He does collect cars so I may see if I can do a partial trade with my 79 Ford wagon. My ford is in as good or BETTER shape than the Buick, Altho not as desirable. But it might help me get what I want. And leave me some cash to do some things it would need.

Well Stewie is off the road :( and Izzy is ON the road! Wow what a handling difference between the 2!

Now I can get my goodies off the Buick. And save em for the next one.
