My wife just rolls her eyes and walks off, thankful that it's cars not girls...

As to the photo, very cool but, what's with all that extra tacked on side trim??
Reminds me of those Vespa scooters in "Quadrophinia;" the ones with all the lights,
    horns and mirrors...

May I play this game? For some reason my Studebaker gets mistaken for GM products all the time~

You should add your wagon to list of vehicles on your profile page. Are you holding out on us with any more wagons in your collection? This looks like a clean survivor car. Did it spend its like in the Mojavi Desert?

Stude Dave, those two wagons are amazingly similar---except for the differences. The big difference is the guy with that grey one needs to straighten is license plate.:rofl2:
Like people say at car shows, my uncle's neighbor had one just like it but his was green and it was a Buick with four doors.
But those tail lites sure look similar.

You could customize your Studebaker by using 57 Pontiac tail light lenses. That would make a dramatic change in the appearance. Well, maybe not.
The tail light lenses look like they could be interchangeable. Amazing similarity in two different makes from the same year.

I do too. Fannie may have a cute little fannie but she sure has a cute face. Now I am referring to the wagon fannie fannie. I haven't seen your fannie yet!
Really, I've never seen the front view of your fannie. I love that. (y)

And you are worried about me posting something that is easily targetable...

It is funny to think that my wife and I share something in common that I didn't know about until just the other day... There is a white 80s model Lincoln down the street. I told her that I liked it and she said she hated it. I asked her why and she responded by describing to me how she doesn't care for trunked cars. "They just don't look right. Turn it into a wagon and then you have a good looking car". :49: I was so proud and happy! She didn't hate the boxy shape or the age or even that it was white. She hates that it had a trunk instead of a cargo bay. So, in summary, My wife likes big asses just as much as I do. :rofl2:

Took me a bit of searching but I found the one I was looking for. A 1949 Buick and the prettiest darned rear end on any Station Wagon bar none!

I like this one so much that I started building a scale model of it years ago with real wood representing the wood box, while the rest of the kit was resin cast using most of a 1/24th scale Franklin Mint as the master.
