I,m aware now factory is 4x10,but having done competition sound systems in vehicles back in the day i also know you get a lot more out of a 6x9.May try building my own "stock" looking corner trim to fit 6x9's

I put Pioneer 4x10's in the stock locations in my '89 Olds Custom Cruiser. I did have to cut a hole for the larger maget. Just used a pen to make a circle and then used a drill...and after about 200 drill-holes per-side (ha!) I was able to bolt in the Pioneers.

I will say they sounded about 1000-percent better than the factory ones once installed....and liked that once the plastic trim was re-installed that the car still looked stock back there.

I had a Delco cassette with an equalizer out of a Cadillac in that car, and had a Pioneer 12-disc changer in the left rear cargo box. Was a nice setup!
