Went and got the other three Yesterday afternoon. Now have a full set. All I need to do now is take a wheel and a lug nut down to the tire store and git me some Mag lug nuts.

Blowin doors off rice-rockets. Now that is how the Lord intended it. That'll be the job of the Ranchito.

This is more of a cruiser (right now ;)) with the one barrel 318 she scoots, but will probly only be able to smoke the poser rice rockets.
(The one's with the fart-car, coffee can muffler still hooked up to the 1 inch exhaust)

The Ranchito will live up to its Divine Destiny. It's a Ford. :biglaugh::evilsmile:

The 318's are a nice engine. Lots of guys got them to slice and dice a rice. But your '64 is one of the Grand Damsels of days long gone.

Well today started out real good. I need to get "Mag Lug nuts" for the wheels, so I called our wheel/tire distributor and asked him bout getting some. He says he can set me up, just bring a wheel and an original lug nut so they can be sure to get me the right stuff. Sounds good. The mother-in-law located the title for the Ranchito, so I figered I'd kill two birds with one stone and go to the licensing agency and git me a collector plate.

I loaded the wheel in the truck and headed to town. Went to the bank (gots to have monies) and then headed to the tire shop.

That's when my trusty old truck decided it wanted the rest of the day off. Died. Dead as a door nail. Made it into a parking lot fine. I did some fiddling around and discovered that I wasn't getting any fuel. No Bueno.

I called my brother to come pick me up. In the mean time I walked across the street to a tire shop (Of course, not the one I was headed to) they told me that I shouldn't leave the truck there because people were always parking stuff there for sale and the owner was tired of it and towed anything and everything. Great.

So I go into the business to let them know my situation. No speaka-da-english. Great.

So when my brother showed up I grabbed the wheel outta the back, wallet, guns, etc and headed to where I work to git the F-450 and trailer.

Long story short (K, maybe not so short :90:) We got er loaded.

So, no lug nuts for the Fury (had visions of it with it's new shoes on dancing in my head) no plates for the Ranchito, and a dead truck.

I left it on the trailer, gonna give it some time to think about what it did and we'll talk in the morning.

It's mad at you. You brought a smaller and rarer truck home.

So, even with the rain (Craptastic weather we're having. March came in like a lion and is going out like a lion) I got the truck unloaded. still haven't sorted out the problem, but getting there.

The real news is I stopped by the wheel and tire store today.

Gots me 20 shiney new lug nuts all in a row just waiting to find their new home on the Fury!

    Gas gauge?
It doesn't work. But, I did have plenty of gas in it.

I have a "See thru" fuel filter just ahead of the tank and another in the engin compartment. There is fuel in the one under the truck, but no fuel in the one under the hood.

I'm thinking either a plugged line or the fuel pump went out.
