    Yeah but couldnt bend them very well and no feeling .... they were the two he held his Pall Mall non-filter in .... burnt his fingers numerous times. ... that was medical science in 1969

    Sorry to hear about your buddys fingers. That is one hell of a memory for sure.

    Yes, I sold the Bel Air about six years ago. I purchased it from an elderly lady in San Jose for $1,400 bucks. I drove the crap out of it for seven or eight years. It was my commuter car, I drove it to work every day, I drove it on several trips to Oregon, Arizona, Baja California, usually towing something. I eventually sold it to a guy for 4,500 cash. I found out a couple of weeks later that he immediately took it to LA and sold it for $7,000, but I can’t complain, it was a great car to me. One of the best cars I have ever owned. I don’t have to tell you guys how versatile a full size wagon can be.

    Wow....what a neat wagon, love the car and to have an AirStream for it to pull is way-way-cool. This combination pushes the right buttons for sure. Happy Motoring.....
