Lovin' the 'Big Fudge'! Great story. Don't own one right now, but I love those last Colony Parks. Bought a '84 in January, 1989, but it only lasted 10 days with us before it toasted itself to death in Las Vegas due to an electrical short in the engine compartment. (Not meaning to scare you - I think it had something to do with the '84 electronic fuel injection, a different system than yours.) Welcome to the forum. Marshall
Hi ! Yes sleeping covered in the garage for 4-5 months, but from time to time I remove the cover, sit on the garage stairs and admire it, thinking of the nice summer trips to come
Thanks Marshall ! I was open to any kind of wagon but hoped for a CP/CS from the last years or a 1977-1989 GM box wagon. I had always liked those body styles since a kid and I wanted a car that unlike the Peugeot I could drive anywhere and not fear an shortage of even the most basic part ! I found last year a relatively well preserved 1986 Parisienne woody (curiously the rear facing seat was cloth) but the price was too high especially for its condition and even if I had driven the 9 hour trip (one way!) the owner was not negociable... I like your Bonnie a lot, and it's got the specific front end which is very nice ! I'm very happy that in the end I found this 1990 panther because EFI and 3 points seatbelts in the back are a big + for the wife (and me!) Sorry to learn about the sad ending of your CP I hope some time I'll find the sellers whom the 2nd owner bought it from and be able to complete the "Big Fudge"'s story from its beginning in 1989. I'll keep you posted !
