Welcome aboard! That's going to be a cool ride when you get it done. What's the plan - back to stock or some personalization?

Welcome to the Nuthouse. That is one fantastic wagon you have there. I remember when 58s were just old cars, and I have never seen a 58 Meteor. Looks like they used 57 Ford quarters and the 58 front clip. Interesting combination. Be sure to start a build thread in the projects section. A whole bunch of us are going to want to watch this one come back to life! If you want an idea of what type of information we like, check out Vetteman's thread on his 71 Pontiac Grand Safari. Brandon will be very difficult to outdo with details and pictures, so I hope you give it a good try!

Hey! Hey! Neat find. Now the Easter Egg hunt begins! Parts Detective - put that on your resume too. Lots of fun. They used to call me the Link Fester a while back. So here's a couple local spots:

Tin man on Springfield Road, Midnite Autoparts on Redonda, just after the curve on Springfield, and of course:

And for Tail Lights or bezels (I love websites with meaningful names):

I see HandyAndy chimed in, so you know you ain't alone in the 'Peg.

    Welcome to the SWF.

Got questions on your wagon, have to know......
    - You've got the front end of a '58, but the back end more closely resembles a '57/'58 Courier Sedan Delivery, with the one-piece lift-up gate, and the 3-piece rear window. Is this how it came, or have we got some modifications here?

I am told that's the way it came. Checked the book. Not that many made. If I remember.. around 400 or so. So I figure 4-door or not... I'm going to build it. Love the way it looks 58 com-in' and 57 go-in'

Of course the front grille is exclusive to Meteor too. Ford is different. Lots of metal work on it though. Floor pans, rockers etc. Also..love to find another rear license plate light to match the one already there. Might just have to go with the one.
