It's really OK. I understand. Didn't have much lead time on this one. I know of no active members in the immediate area where the wagon's at, and in this case, I'm getting a full written report from a certified expert, with pics and all........plus (a usually worthless) CarFax. Truth be told, I did get a kind offer to help from a member, but I declined due to his situation, having other much more important things pending.

This is what I meant, although the light factor is nice bonus. Flashlight batteries don't stand up well in cold weather if you carry them year round in the glove box. But a few (actual) emergence candles and matches(or lighter) in a glass jar with an air tight lid will serve a few benefits...apart from heat and light it makes a great hand warmer.

Hope the inspection goes well KK and your braggin about your great find real soon.

    Question...what does a vegetarian on a diet eat? :D

Sheeze, he's going to get a car in Cali...not traveling the Amizon in a blizard.

..By the way KK,, wear clean under wear on your trip just incase you have to go to a doctor, and make sure your name is sewed to shirts and pants. Also have your honey put the letter "L" and "R" on your shoes......

    :D

Vegetarians don't have to diet. They are already doing that 24/7 (y)

But if we really do need to, we watch someone eating a big mac and that pretty much causes us to not want to eat anything for awhile:whew: (that oughtta get a rise out of the crowd - and is oughtta really a word?)

Now, back to KK's pursuit. Hopefully this is the car of his desires and that he's on the way to pick it up.

    Well, this one's a no-go.
Got an E-mail back from Car Chex. No inspector nearby, and they want another $105 for mileage charges. I said no.......cancelled the inspection request.

Sorry to hear this KK. Long distance buying is so risky that sometimes one has to just shrug off the deals and wait for one within easy driving.

If anything comes up in the Seattle and north range drop me a message and I'll go take a look.
