Thanks! Have been trying to turn the engine over today, with not much luck. Got one little burst that pushed the Marvel's back out the hole, but then nothing... I have a magazine ad that shows this wagon with an Airstream I always wanted one of those authentic Teardrop trailers...
Thanks! It's MOPAR or NO CAR" ..... I was looking at your pix earlier - awesome stuff. Don't know my way around this site yet, but I keep trying....
Thank you..... I spent the day trying to get the engine to turn over...... it's been setting for 10 years or more.
What seems to be the problem about not turning over? We just scrapped our 1977 Motorhome which had a 440 and torqueflite. Saved the engine. It had sat over 10-12 years before son tried it. Started in just a few turns. Pulled it out this summer after a total of 17 years sitting. Before pulling it son started it again. Right off and smooth. This is in NW Florida. Unless your engine is rusted up it should spin and start. Especially with Marvel in it to loosen things up. Pull the plugs and put Marvel Mystery Oil in each hole and let it set a day. Try to crank it without the plugs later. Good luck.
Well, Oregon does have a moisture problem.... I pulled the plugs last week and started adding MMO... I thought a week would have done some good. Thanks...
Welcome fellow Oregonian! Hope you get your engine started. I agree, the moisture can be a bit of a problem, but not insurmountable if you have working windshield wipers.... which I do not... yet.
Hey - can you send me the link to that Albany car show again? I can't find that thread anywhere! Thanks!
