It's not perfect by any means, but they turned out alright. It will accomplish the task and that is what I was wanting.
Nothing to exciting to report in regards to My Grandpa's F-100 Just been driving it here and there when the weather is nice. I've driven it to work the last couple of days. Parking next to the 71 Bronco. This past weekend there was an antique truck show & vintage camping trailer rally at the local AG museum. The boys and I decided to go and check it out. At the museum they have a building they built to resemble an old service station. They have restored gas pumps that they roll out front for big shindigs such as this. Got a couple of photos of the truck in front of the old pumps.
That's cool, but for the 'real' realism, ya just gotta find that back water gas station on US2 in the extreme Idaho panhandle:
They did have diesel, it was just out of shot. And had I been thinking when I pulled in there, I would've been on the near side of the pumps so the light stanchion would've been on the far side of the car.
