    they actually dont look to bad....and thats comin from a old guy..that owns 2 actual Lowriders.:D

    Ive never been keen on the biggie wires...but they look alright:D

    OK. I'll be the bad guy. I think it looks like someone wearing a sweat suit and shiny wing tips. Over dressed.
    Sorry, suspect, I love the car but feel the wheels are out of place.:oops:

    Thanks for all the comments, I just had the wheels laying around for a couple years and I figured I'd try them on the ol Mercury.

    I love wire wheels and I think they look good. Especially with the Chrome like you stated. I plan on putting wires on all my cars most likely. They'll probably range from 16" on one and 22" on another. My only concern is the knock off aspect and the terrible ny streets I drive on day in and day out.

    I'm not a big fan of spokes. They are a real PITA to keep clean, and I'm lazy. I didn't like cleaning them on my motorcycle, and I'd hate having to keep FOUR of them clean. Something with fewer spokes like the Kelsey-Hayes on the old T-Birds would be easier to maintain.
