I didn't know who Willy DeVille was back in the day, because we had this Southern rock thing going on down here. He wrote and performed some amazing songs in his life. Here are three: OK, Moon Martin wrote that one. But Willy owned it. Willy passed away in August of 2009, of NON rock n roll causes.(pancreatic cancer) OK, one more time, a recent song about Rita:
Man I feel old, but not old enuff to know/like 90% of the songs you guys posted up. I prefer newer music myself, helps make me feel young again. The best tune I have seen posted other then my stuff is Low Rider. The rest is way too old for my taste.
If I could get out of my chair in under 5 minutes I'd hit you with my cane...if I could remember where it is, but let me find my glasses first I like alot of the new music except for wrap crap. I'm stuck at work with the local FM station because the building blocks out 80% of the stations. In the Wagon though the radio station we can get are almost uncountable, I'm sure the Rev will back up this state ment. We get so many stations from the States and Vancouver there is almost no dead air if your still turning a radio dail. Multi Music for all tastes
The Wet Coast has excellent radio stations. You being on the ocean-side of the Rockies are getting the best reception too. My old '75 T&C had a great stereo system, and the stock tuner could pick up Portland Stations too.
@a1awind & wixom61 I discovered Strunz & Farah by chance in 1990, they were playing a free concert at UTEP in El Paso. Been a huge fan ever since. Some of their chops even make the heavy metal shredders stop and take notice.
