I thought it was bad we had a frost warming yesterday. http://www.wmtw.com/news/snow-joke-northern-maine-wakes-up-to-snow/33186470
If i took a picture out my front window that would be white sand and an Armadillo! It didn't make 100 degrees here but the heat index was around 100. We had heat warnings to take it easy. So I did!
We have a few of those here in Washington State; earlier this year, they reopened the North Cascades Highway the earliest week in Washington's history, due to the second lowest recorded snowfall over the Winter. So we'll see what happens this Winter.
Not long after we moved to NW Florida we spent a week end one winter in our RV with a retired co worker in Frostproof, Fl. The water hose to our RV and his water faucet froze and it was frosty! Also the weather report for where we are supposed to move is 1"-6" of heavy snow. But don't worry about up to 40 MPH winds because it will be wet snow and around 16 degrees Saturdy moring. I really feel badly about not moving there yet. We have windows open and the sun is shining in my eyes! What a difference 1000 miles can make.
Our first taste of winter came in last night. It was 49(F) overnight, we may only get to 69 today. I guess I'll have to wear socks today. Thursday Thanksgiving it'll be 80.
Whaaaaaaaaaa I've had the pilot lites on on the wall LP heater and the furnace for two months. Yes we still have to manual lite them. This morning I was forced to turn the wall heater up. It was around 40 something outside. One more day of winter and then summer again. On the other hand we could be living here------------- Poor girl, she was born in Florida and now has to suffer!
