When I was about 9, back in 1957, I had a paper route for our town's weekly paper, in Bowmanville, Ontario. population 8,000, dog population 3,000!

We'd get Lake Effect snow storms from Lake Ontario (one of the Great lakes for our non-Canadian friends). One guy on the route, built his 3-story house underground, with a people and car elevator. All he had above were dome-type light funnels and entries to the 2 elevators. Both elevators had electric and manual operation. And when there was no snow, all you saw was his concrete 'roof' pad. He claimed his heating bill was the lowest anywhere! Now that we know about geothermal HVAC systems, I'd tend to agree.

I just saw the forecast for April. You ain't gonna like it!

I think you should send some of that snow to the snow deprived in Florida.

You did say----------- on the garden swing...

Around here we sit IN OUR SWING. Maybe around July you'll be just a swingin!

If you sent us a bucket of snow we'd have water by the time it got to south Georgia.
