Yellerspirit, those temps, ouch! Here in L.A. I feel miserable when the temp drops below 60 (and I'm NY born and raised!)
https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbi...zrH5Xf1xsbttLP24TMfAdzHaTrC-SWw&__tn__=EH-y-R This was posted by a local diner in Truro, NS. We are on day two of this storm. In our area, Northern NS., the forecast is more of the same tomorrow. Another 10-20cm is likely tomorrow. The service station here in Parrsboro thinks they will be out of gas before the storm lifts. The roads are so bad the tanker can't get through. It's White Jaun all over again.
Not snow, but thought I'd post this here, since it's weather related. Lost power for 24 hours due to flooding in my area. It's been raining horribly for two days. It's still raining, but not nearly as bad. We had no heat, no hot water, no oven. Paul was able to make a hot meal last night, though, by lighting the stove with his lighter. No Internet obviously. Glad to be back.
