I'm trying to line up a deal for a lil late 50's wagon, won't say what until it's in my hands, don't need any bad juju Currently working on a 57 Ford F1 and a never ending Studebaker race car (looks like one anyways) I've had a couple wagons in the past and always enjoyed em. The plan on this next one is to make the wife fall in love with it and let her have a bit of fun with it. She digs the old cars as long as they're safe...ish. Another person with esoteric knowledge who is willing to share, not to mention learning what it is you need to know to keep your car working right. The body of knowledge in this joint is phenomenal. Heck, the only reason I'm driving a nice '81 Bonneville Safari right now is because a great SWF member and friend went way out of his way to look at it for me in Wisconsin. Let's see if this works... This is the "Studebasher" we run at Bonneville. Pretty stock other than a cam and some head work and of course the safety gear. Ran in the USFRA 130mph club our best is 119 and change, not bad for an old low compression motor. My dads working on putting a turbo on for a lil more umph. I suggest, if you haven't been to the salt, put it on the list.

One step closer! I stopped in to drop a deposit and a case of C- (Coors Light) Turns out we know some of the same people, after some BS the price was getting lower and lower....I was happy paying what he wanted but am always open to keeping my hard earned money:banana: I've got some Apple Pie that I made back in November, we'll see if I can negotiate a motor/trans with the deal. He mentioned a 4.3 V6 would work real well and that he had one....we'll see Thanks for the guys Dan
It's nothing fancy, just different. I may get it this weekend Jim, I see you've got quite a bit o Mopars. My last wagon was a 56 Plymouth, I've got a 67 Fastback that will be the next competition car...helping a buddy with his 67 Notch, went to SEMA in 2011 with another friends 68 Charger...that car lead to building another one for someone that wanted his...I seem to be surrounded by Mopars!
