Well from the pics I have seen the last couple years here of all of Rev's wagons in the yard, if I had a wagon I wanted to get rid of I think I would park it in Rev's yard and he would never know! :biglaugh:Oh I forgot he would notice since it would more than likely be a chevy wagon if it came from me!:rofl2:

nope...neither....even if they did....they're not the 'desirable' 9" in those full size'ers:oops:

Looking over the pics, I find it ironic that on the brown CP, every single panel is totally rusted out, except for the hood, and yet, on the green CP, the hood is the only panel that seems to be beyond help. Rust is some weird stuff!

Rev, I do hope you can find room for the green CP. That was an absolute stunner of a wagon when new, and doesn't look too far gone. I'd hate to think of that getting scrapped.

    David :)

    Rev,
Don't be so fast to discount the '77 Riv. First year of GMs downsized big car platform that lived well into the nineties and well regarded by most. The Buick 350 was the preferred engine in these and I think the last car to use it.
Not the best looking Riv, it was merely a gussied up LeSabre, but nice inside, very comfortable and a well mannered driver.
I had one in the day and another 20 or so years ago.
If the body and interior is decent and you think it'll make it to Chicago I'd be interested.
Edit; Never mind the last part, I'm reminded of how far away you are.

I still say I wish I were closer. Even if the cars are scrap, there are a LOT of parts that could go into Bertha and make her that much nicer. Because of the beagles, though, I really do need a wagon. And because of me, I need the 2 door Grand Marquis as well. Of course, that would become a convertible, for the HELL of it! Love these cars.

Tedy, I know you don't believe me, but get a good dual exhaust under that Beteor of yours and the mileage will improve significantly. They all used the same miserable 2 inch single exhaust, and by switching to a 2 1/4 inch dual, you get them able to exhale. Makes a big difference. On a 460, the difference is easily 7 mpg right there. Get the AOD in there, you may just be surprised.
