I haven't bothered with upgrading my TV with a digital converter. I took the rabbit ears off, even. Then I renamed Channel 3 to VIDEOH 3.:biglaugh: Now, I plug in one of my movie collection or the wife's, then turn on the tube. :thumbs2: You have no idea how powerful that feels. No ads, no talking heads, no news pundits, and best of all... No Politicians taking up my time with hotair they will never deliver on! :taz::rofl2:

Up here, I call them "Pirates of the Canadian". And I'm being kind!:rednose:

Around here we have New Country, Old Country, Old Time Country, Blue Grass, Gospel, and Blue Grass Gospel. New Country is actually my least favorite now. It seems like it is taking a dive. Still like my '50's and '60's Oldies though. There are a lot of great songs out there.

Ah, I hear many stories from my mom and dad about the golden days of WMAQ. I think Obama has plenty to do with a lot of shifty stuff going on.

    Let's also not forget T_R_O_U_B_L_E

Actually it goes "She's SO fine, my 409" ... but the later "hook" in the song of "Giddy-up, giddy-up my 4-0-9" would seems to validate this song's "country" roots!!! .... yeppers, right on topic!!
