"PTy". He is of course a PT Cruiser Touring Sport (2005) not a wagon. And I love it (him)! And so does Hubby! He is a Chevy guy through and through, but we liked it as soon as we saw it. We sold the '84 Cavalier that neither of us were really comfortable with. That went to an older man in New Brunswick who had one in his younger years, but not a convertible. He was as excited with the Cavalier as we were with PTy. It truly was meant to happen the way it did. Things I like about PTy, in no particular order... 1) he's an automatic with 2.4 engine and good on gas. 2) he has a sporty roll bar with lights 3) he's a great size. People fit comfortably in the back seat and still have great leg room in the front. 4) my mom's walker fits like a glove in the truck. 5) he's a convertible and a very pretty metallic blue. 6) he's covered by Hagerty Insurance as a Collector Car. 7) and he's a cutie! Things that are not so great about PTy... 1) the roll bar blocks the sight line for left shoulder checking. 2) he has a small rust issue starting on the rear passenger wheel well just above the tire. 3) he's pinstriping should be replaced.
I almost forgot, the folks that bought Fannie are hoping to have her on the road next summer! If all goes well. That's fabulous. We would not have been able to do that.
