I wish I would of seen this when you 1st posted it, I would of tried to meet you there. I have been planning on taking mine to Union Grove on Tue night (Grove opened on the 31st) just to see what a stock LT1 wagon will do.

Last time I had a wagon at the track it was my 85 Electra Estate about 15 years ago and ended up breaking the rear end just before the rain hit. Thing is I was more bummed that I couldn't run anymore than the breaking of the rear. It was the 1st time I had gotten good enough air that I would have went over 100mph and under 13.50. The run I broke on was a 13.51@99.6

I hope you have better luck than I did.

Has foxy been back ? Getting worried. He may have been in reverse at the starting line and still be backing into the pits.

Well...I always felt the same way, Ian....BUT....there was a 2009 Mitsu Lancer EVO there that ran in the 11's all day long! And an old Honda with rust areas around all the wheels with aluminum riveted over it that got to the high 10's! Started to change my way of thinking a little.

I wish, KK....close, but no cigar. Couldn't get to 14.5. Ran it a few times and could only get to 14.8. The car ran awesome, but, with the 2.92 rear end and the weight it just gets out of the hole way too slow. Not to mention there was a strong head wind all day long. I could get to 14.5 with some weight out of there but I didn't do this car as a hot rod. I built it as a comfortable wagon with a little more snort and that's exactly what I got.:D Although, being at the track made me start thinking. I'm hoping I get over that.:D

    EDIT:
My friend just called...he has the slips...I was slightly wrong....it ran 14.7.

OK....I had my 88 Electra wagon with a strong 455 in it and I couldn't get NEAR 13.50. Of course mine was stock looking with AC 2.23 rear end etc and I didn't take any of the weight out of it. Still...I would sure love to know what you were running in that Electra wagon to get to 13.50!
