I'm changing my mind to agree with David on this one. Looking at the size comparison, I now think it's full-sized. Everything matches on the big '62 Pontiac.

Don't think that Titanic Explorer's mystery wagon is a '61 Chevy. If you'll note pic, the mystery wagon seems to have a raised spear going down the center of the hood. That fits the '62 Pontiac Safari, but not the Chevy.

And Titanic, that earlier wagon was indeed a '61 Pontiac Tempest. Those were very unique wagons. They had a'Slant 4' engine (actually half of a Pontiac 389 V8) and a rear transaxle.

I'll vote for the '61 over the '62. It looks to me like the center parts of the hood are angled down toward center like the '61 more than straight into a point and down like the '62.

Of course that's just my opinion and you know what is generally said about opinions and their similarity to certain human body parts...

Definitely an early 60s Pontiac Safari - like several have mentioned, likely a '62.

I'm pretty sure its a Pontiac, but unlike the others, I think its a Tempest. The proportions of it next to the middle sized Rambler Classic 440 next to it just don't seem to big enough to be a Safari or any of the bigger Ponchos. Great mystery pic op. :scratchchin:
