    As a new driver driving my first car ('78 Fairmont 200 CID 3-speed) I went to do a rolling downshift into First, and at the very slow speed of less than 5 MPH, I stupidly shifted into reverse, causing the rear tires to drag on the gravel and stalling the engine. If I had been on a paved road, I'd probably still have a half-moon dent in my forehead for my idiocy. Oh, and I was 24 when this happened.......:slap:
