    Beautiful truck indeed. Ever since I joined and first saw it I have admired it. Sounds like it is going to a good home where it will be taken care of properly.

    Tedy, all the best to you, my friend. Pray everything goes smooth and fast with your surgery so that you can get back here and tell Fox and Cat about the pretty nurses they didn't get to see that you did. :rofl2: But seriously Good Luck! :thumbs2: You're a good and respectable man.

    Best wishes for a fast recovery Tedy.
    Now for a bit of fun with the truck, do you still have access to that wrecked parts truck? On the last day of the 100 hours of work, wouldn't it be fun to hide your truck and put that wrecked truck in its place in the driveway? A little green paint from a rattle can and a hidden camera when he shows up to collect his truck and....

    Yeah. I agree with what 'fox said.

    I feel for you with the mouth problems. I HATE dentists. Or rather, I hate having to get dental work. It's like pulling teeth......

    Um, lets see, um.... counting on one hand, I still have fingers left over and my hand is one of those parts!
    :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

    It is wierd to this day, only a few can walk around and say "I'm full of new and used parts. The "used" is still kinda creepy to me, and I don't normally get creeped out! I don't meen to sound all corny and everything but, it's a wierd thought I can't get rid of. I'm walking, but I'm not suppossed to be (for real)... my X-Rays (have a couple real good ones at home) are a mess, I have parts from some one who died inside of me, I don't know who, male or female, did they die in there sleep, hero, accident, I will never know. If I didn't get those as a doner I would'nt be walking! I'll just shu' up now on that subject:D

    Thanks for the well wishes all, it would be so nice to meet so many of you....when I will the loto, thers a road trip ahead and alot of:Handshake: on the miles.

    Well, I run but have a miss fire, but oiling the parts is very important!:rofl2:

    If I remember, you go to East Sooke now and then in the summer, Rite? Nomatter what route you take there it all comes down to one highway in and that puts you a mile and a half away from my house while in travel to there:yup: I'm a holding ya to this, this summer......as I never seem to leave the rock anymore. All I have to give ya is my streets name....I don't think you'll have a problem finding my house:rofl2:

    Well, today is sure going to be intersting:boxing:

    So my last post abpout this was March13! Our deal was, work would start that week for the truck trade. Well, I'm not gona hound the guy on this hand shake deal so I just waited, and waited...and waited to the point that my wife and I have now completed over 1/2 the work ourselves because we have never heard from the kid until just 2 days ago.

    He phones up out of the blue as if we just talked yesterday and said I'll be over Saturday to start work. I said WTF?!? ...it's been a month since you were suposed to start! the excuses I got sounded like ....remember the origonal Blues Brothers movie? John is under the bridge, his syco girlfriend has the riffle, John is making up non stop wild excuses.....tornados, floods, blizards, LOCUS...it's was'nt my fault

    Well, NO TRUCK FOR HIM!....And today he's coming over to help my daughter move....

    Gona be interesting.

    I find this very interesting, Tedy. I have considered giving things to certain people in the past that I thought deserved a break. Often times....if you wait long enough...the true colors of some people show loud and clear. The wrong colors. I don't know what it is, but, when you try to help someone it very often doesn't turn out like you thought it would. I gave a guy a car one time....he and his wife's car broke down and went to the junk yard...I knew his sister and family and he was a friend of a friend. He was telling me the sob story and the next day I gave him a car I had. Like all the cars I have ever owned, it was cherry. It was my wife's car and I was in the process of buying her a new one. Three days later I found out that the guy sold the car for $3000. That was in 1983 and the guy has avoided me ever since. If he is in a place and I come in the front door he skips out the back door. I have had other similar things happen to me as well. I thought that you knew this kid really well and thought that it was a nice gesture on your part. From what you just said here.....keep that truck.
