I should have mentioned, our stuff is Sears. Only replaced one drier belt years ago. Had to bi-pass some kind of switch on the drier but it still works. I worry every time Dollie throws a load in either now. It's time!
Ah Ha !~ Months ago we had to by-pass the door switch on our Sears top loader washer because it stopped operating. Just warned my wife to not open the door when it's washing. Then lately when it wouldn't work son by-passed a round gadget that looked like a relay. I'll bet that's some sort of safety tilt or off-balance switch. Hey! It still works and after this long it's on borrowed time anyway. Someday my wife will come running in to tell me it looks like the one in the video, parts all over the garage. As long as it doesn't kill my station wagon or 48 Chevy panel truck I can live with that.
???? I can just hear the wife saying, "You made the bloody mess, now you can clean it up! And don't come in the house until it's done!"
It would have been a must save video, if the thing had charged off and beat on one of the cars,..or spit the weight out through a window,.
