    Thanks, everyone, for the warm welcome! I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the restoration process, and I might say a lot of dumb things or ask silly questions along the way, so please forgive me and feel free to correct my blundering. But it's been a lot of fun so far.

    Thanks, Krash Kadillak, for pointing me in the right direction for starting a thread about the restoration. Got to take the kiddos to the pool now... but I will try and get it started later tonight after they've gone to bed.
